Superintendent of Schools

December 21, 2018

Dear East Meadow School Community:

The high level of energy and commitment that all of us bring to the East Meadow school community is one thing I am most appreciative of at this time of the year – thank you!

Before the last bell rings today, let me, again, take a moment to express my gratitude for all that each of you do for our students and colleagues. East Meadow is a great place to educate our children and foster their success specifically because of the contributions, dedication and passion demonstrated by all who live and work within our school community.

As we begin the holiday season, I encourage you to reflect on the things and people who are truly important in your lives. It’s important for all of us to step back and put things into perspective and appreciate our blessings.

If the past week’s winter concerts have not helped to usher in a great holiday week, I don’t know what will! Kudos to all involved. Enjoy the holiday break and I wish all in East Meadow a happy, healthy and prosperous year to come!

Sincerely,

Dr. Kenneth A. Card, Jr.
Superintendent of Schools
